When AliveProxy checks proxy server for anonymity, it tries to find your IP address in the server variables. If the IP is found the proxy server is Transparent. If specified IP is not found, the proxy is Anonymous. If you have dial-up connection to the Internet, you have to set checkbox "Autodetect IP address".
If you have LAN connection to the Internet and you have one IP for LAN and another IP for the Internet, you have to take off "Autodetect IP address" flag to determine correctly your IP address. In this case press button "Detect IP" to determinate your IP address or press button "Enter manually" for manual entry IP address.
Interface preferences
Startup with Windows - check it if you want to start AliveProxy when your Windows is started
Check the connection status - take off the flag if you have LAN connection to the Internet (this options are used only for dialup connection)
Cool hint - select type of hints - usual or transparent
Enable sound - check it if you want to allow AliveProxy play sound to inform you about several events.
Status tool bar update speed - select speed of updating toolbar during checking proxy servers of resolving tasks.
Language - select interface language, which you prefer. Please write us if you can help us to make translation on new language.
Integration with Internet Explorer
AliveProxy can make several menu items in local menu of Internet Explorer to speed up some operations.
Blocking access to the image address by AliveProxy - add menu item for blocking access to specified image. URl of the image or path will be added to list of blocked addresses (this URLs will be blocked if you use AliveProxy as Proxy Server).
Blocking access to the document address by AliveProxy - add menu item for blocking access to current HTML document. URl of the page will be added to list of blocked addresses (this URLs will be blocked if you use AliveProxy as Proxy Server).
Blocking access to the link address by AliveProxy - add menu item for blocking access to specified link. URl of the link or path will be added to list of blocked addresses (this URLs will be blocked if you use AliveProxy as Proxy Server).
Cut out proxies from selection by AliveProxy - add menu item to import proxy list from selection in the Internet Explorer. When you surf through Internet and find proxy list, you can select the proxies, click right mouse button and import the proxies to the AliveProxy without saving the page.
